Job summary

Summerville Medical Center is seeking an OR RN for PRN on-call availability, including weeknights and weekend nights. You will provide professional perioperative nursing care, collaborate with surgeons and staff, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with eligibility for licensure.
• Current RN license in the state or compact license required.
• BLS certification for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency, elective and scheduled OR procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and care.
• Serve as liaison between surgical team, patients and families.
• Organize supplies and maintain sterile operating room conditions.
• Assess patient status before, during, and after surgery and monitor outcomes.
