Mission Neighborhood Health Center seeks an Optometrist for on-call as needed coverage in San Francisco. The role involves conducting routine eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and prescribing eyeglasses or treatments in compliance with California regulations.

The position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and pays hourly. Eligible candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry, CA Optometry license, TPA certification, and an NPI.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited school of optometry, Doctor of Optometry degree.
• Valid California Optometry license.
• Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents Certification (T.P.A.).
• Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) prior to employment/start date.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse communities.

Responsabilidades

• Examines eyes to determine visual acuity and diagnose ocular diseases.
• Prescribes eyeglasses and other treatment as needed.
• Interprets data from clinical exams and develops a treatment plan.
• Completes necessary forms and documentation.
