Job summary

Centre for Neuro Skills is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist for an on-call PRN role in Emeryville, CA. You will develop personalized treatment plans, conduct evaluations, and provide therapy to patients with brain injuries to improve independence and quality of life.

Join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and confidence. Shifts typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
• Membership in APTA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain therapeutic programs: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
• Conduct evaluations: Administer initial evaluations, identify primary impairments, and use appropriate outcome measures to create effective treatment plans.
• Implement treatment programs: Provide therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, home evaluations with recommendations, orthotic and assistive device recommendations, and therapeutic home programs.
• Provide pain relief: Use modalities and manual techniques to relieve pain and improve patient comfort.
• Program management: Continuously check on patient progress and update programs via interim evaluations.
• Supervise and guide: Instruct clinic aides and supervise students.
• Reporting and communication: Maintain records and coordinate with patients, families, insurers, and other therapists.

Education
