Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a skilled Multi-site Maintenance Technician to maintain two or more properties. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, functional, and well-presented.

You will respond to resident service requests, manage work orders, coordinate with vendors, and help prepare vacant units for new residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license required (for golf cart operation if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests using a work order system and complete repairs to company standards and local codes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing inspections, punch lists, and scheduling contractors.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning, trash removal, and minor painting.
• Track inventory and manage tools; notify supervisors of reorder needs.
• Support safety policies by attending safety meetings and OSHA training; report incidents.
• Inspect work by vendors or contractors to ensure quality and scope compliance.
• Assist in property inspections to identify maintenance needs and upkeep.
