Job summary

Kane Realty Corp. is seeking a Floating Service Manager to support maintenance across multiple Triangle/Triad area communities in Raleigh, NC. The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and safety compliance.

You will prepare vacant units, inspect and repair systems, perform preventative tasks, and support grounds and pool maintenance as needed. A valid driver’s license and ability to work weekends/on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication with residents, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work some weekends and on-call rotation.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
• Repair and maintain showers, sinks, doors/cabinets, walls, and exteriors.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins per standards.
• Inspect and service HVAC systems as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance across properties.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance on rotation.
• Perform grounds work and basic pool maintenance as required.
• Coordinate special projects with Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
