Denton Floyd Real Estate Group in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to maintain day-to-day upkeep and repairs across our properties. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related systems under the direction of the Community Manager and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years in residential property management or equivalent maintenance experience, at least 1 year plumbing experience, and a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years residential property management, or equivalent maintenance experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year plumbing experience required.
• HVAC or EPA Certificate preferred but not required; CPO is a plus.
• Maintain a professional, courteous manner with residents, vendors and managers.
• Valid driver's license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day upkeep and repairs of the property under the Community Manager.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units and water heaters.
• Repair or replace lighting, switches, outlets, detectors, thermostats.
• Unclog plumbing drains and repair fixtures.
• Handle occupied work requests and apartment turns.
• Be available for on-call after hours emergencies.
• Complete Make Ready Check Lists and document progress.
