Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Mobile Crisis Specialist - QMHP in Independence, MO, to provide crisis assessments and connect individuals with needed resources. You will work in a mobile and on-call capacity, coordinating with crisis teams, law enforcement, and EMS to ensure safe, appropriate care.

Required are a Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field with practicum, CPR/First Aid and CPI certification, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field or related area.
• Completion of a practicum required or one year of behavioral health experience.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate telephone and face-to-face crisis assessments for children and adults in crisis.
• Assess risk, develop safety plans, and connect to crisis and community resources.
• Coordinate access to crisis services and hospitalization when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Crisis Services and law enforcement to support safety needs.
