On-Call MedTech Field Service Technician

Job summary

IQVIA LLC is seeking a MedTech Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and update automated medication dispensing systems in hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics. This on-call role is ~20–25 hours per week with an anticipated October 2026 start date.

Local travel within the Las Vegas area and a valid driver license are required; you will respond to service tickets within SLA and carry required immunization credentials.

Qualifications

• Intermediate troubleshooting abilities in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience as a military technician or other complex electronics technician preferred.
• Experience supporting healthcare equipment and field service is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support.
• Must be able to push/pull/bend/lift up to 70 lbs and clear hospital credentials including vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair existing devices and document activities.
• Replace hardware parts and perform software updates/calibrations.
• Perform preventative maintenance with customers on a semi-annual/annual basis.
• Assist in installation and implementation of new devices at customer sites.
• Conduct routine system checks and record data from product tests after installation.
