Job summary

Revere Health in Provo, UT, is seeking an on-call Medical Assistant/Receptionist for the Internal Medicine team. This role involves rooming patients, documenting information in the EMR, and supporting clinic operations.

The position requires dependable customer service, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. CPR certification is required upon hire, with on-call hours Monday–Friday, 8:00–6pm.

Qualifications

• Past MA experience or patient care experience preferred.
• Must be dependable, with outstanding customer service, organization and attention to detail.
• Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional.
• Be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
• Must be willing to help with receptionist duties as well.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, entering and recording all pertinent information into electronic medical records.
• Maintains clean and orderly exam rooms.
• Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures.
• Calls results and relays messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions.
• Call/Fax/ prescriptions per protocol.
