Qualifications

• Must have 6–12 months experience or certification as Medical Assistant and CPR certification.

• Knowledge of ICD-10 preferred and ability to document patient information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and maintain patient confidentiality of records.
• Record office visits using electronic templates for physicians.
• Assist with testing, injections, blood draws, and serum mixing as requested.
• Triages phone messages and coordinates with physicians for prompt responses.
• Schedule appointments, process copays, and handle front office duties as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant work environment and assist with prior authorizations.
