Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Mechanical Technician for Farmington, NM.

The role focuses on inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing mechanical equipment to sustain safe, efficient operations across our midstream facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment; supporting foundation work and startup activities; and ensuring regulatory records and time reporting are up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years mechanical experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gas-fired, Waukesha, Caterpillar, and engine-driven equipment preferred.
• Experience with Ariel, gas compressor experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, reports and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical equipment to maintain safe and productive operation.
• Maintain centrifugal pumps and electric motors: bearings, seals, alignments, couplings, etc.
• Maintain block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators, etc.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves and other equipment including foundation work and startup.
• Complete regulatory reports and time records; coordinate with Area Supervisor to minimize downtime.
