Job summary

Enterprise Products is seeking a Mechanical Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment to maintain safe, productive operations in the Jal area of New Mexico.

The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and location incentives, with responsibilities spanning pumps, motors, valves, engines, and safety compliance; cross-training and regulatory maintenance are expected.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical certification or training in a mechanical environment is preferred.
• 3+ years of mechanical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors; bearings and seals.
• Maintenance on other mechanical equipment: valves, air compressors, actuators.
• Repair of reciprocating engines and related components.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors and valves; assist with alignment and startup.
• Complete regulatory reports and time records; coordinate with Area Supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the area response team.
