Job summary

Fulton County Board of Commissioners is seeking a Substitute Kitchen Aide or Meal Delivery Driver at the Fulton County Senior Center. This on-call, as-needed role supports daily meal programs and essential services, with a starting wage of $15 per hour.

Typical day includes meal preparation assistance, delivery on assigned routes, and kitchen upkeep. The schedule varies: 9:30 AM to route completion (about 3–4 hours) or 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with senior citizens preferred.
• Ability to lift up to sixty (60) pounds.
• Must maintain valid Ohio driver's license and proof of required auto insurance.
• Must meet requirements in OAC 173-3-06.6(B) (3)
• Must pass background check per OAC 173-9-01.

Responsibilities

• Meal delivery support.
• Assist with packaging meals and transporting items.
• Deliver meals on assigned routes in a timely, respectful, and courteous manner.
• Return donations, delivery records, and materials to the Senior Center upon route completion.
• Perform other delivery-related duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, approx. 9:30 AM until route completion (3-4 hours per day).
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service.
• Maintain proper food-service sanitation by following safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
• Report client concerns or unusual circumstances encountered during meal service.
• Support dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen/dining area upkeep.
• Perform additional kitchen-related duties as needed.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Skills
