Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our student housing properties in Statesboro, GA. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Property Manager and supports resident services and safety standards.

You’ll handle repairs, turnovers, on-call duties, and ongoing property upkeep while adhering to OSHA policies and safety guidelines. Strong maintenance skills and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• General maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances preferred.
• EPA Type I/II certification is preferred; may be required in some locations.
• Basic computer skills to use maintenance software and email systems.
• Strong problem-solving and clear resident communication.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and be available for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly, including after-hours and emergencies.
• Perform unit turnovers and make-readies to meet move-in deadlines.
• Maintain exterior and common areas for a clean, welcoming environment.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and ensure health and safety compliance where applicable.
• Identify and address maintenance issues to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
• Follow OSHA standards and report hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Use tools and inventory safely and efficiently, coordinating with the team.
• Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to meet property goals.
