Job summary

TAM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to complete work orders, repairs, and renovations at our Austin location. This role involves maintaining community standards and supporting the Lead Maintenance Technician.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC certification, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Competitive benefits are provided including medical and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and repairs promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect vacated apartments to document required renovations.

Skills

Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

Ability to read technical manuals and safety instructions

Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely

Basic computer skills for completing work orders

Ability to handle resident concerns professionally

Ability to assess maintenance issues

Ability to prioritize tasks

Education

Previous experience in apartment maintenance

HVAC certification

CPO certification is a plus
