Job summary

Park Place at Tampa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our luxury student housing community in Tampa, Florida. You will handle work orders, maintain the grounds, and participate in an on-call rotation for 24-hour emergencies, ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

You will repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry across 1- to 5-bedroom units, support turnovers, and help uphold property standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repair experience.
• Appliance repair and carpentry skills.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA-certified HVAC certification preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair apartment units (1- to 5-bedroom layouts).
• Ensure property and facilities integrity; ground skeeping and trash removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly for resident satisfaction.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including minor repairs, touch-up painting, and furniture moving.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general appliance repairs as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
