Job summary

Era Living is seeking an on-call Maintenance Technician II for the University House Issaquah community in Issaquah, WA. Shifts are flexible, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM as needed, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities include maintaining the community, repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related systems, and ensuring safety and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of technical school training or two years of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community in good repair including plumbing, plastering, painting, lighting, electrical, carpentry, roofing and mechanical maintenance.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance of equipment used in a healthcare setting.

Era Living is seeking an on-call Maintenance Technician II to become the newest member of our Maintenance Team located in our University House Issaquah Community, in Issaquah, WA. Available shifts will be any day of week, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining the community in good repair including routine plumbing, plastering, painting, lighting, electrical, carpentry, roofing, and mechanical maintenance and repairs of the community and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Possess moderate to higher level technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment generally used in a health care setting
• Advanced knowledge of basic construction principles
• Valid Washington State Driver's License
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or GED certificate, required
• One year technical school training or 2 years' experience, required
