Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and respond to on-call requests. The role requires HVAC knowledge, on-call availability, and a readiness to assist various property teams across Lynnwood Park.

Position includes performing diverse repairs, managing maintenance orders, and ensuring safety with proper use of equipment and compliance with policies. Night/weekend shifts may be required and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC skills with CFC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Respond to on-call paging; 24 hour on-call including weekends.
• Assist the Service Manager or Housekeeper with their work as needed.
• Assist Grounds personnel with trashing out units.
• Manage inventory control and use of maintenance materials.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs; review with Service Manager.
• Submit and manage work orders; complete same-day work orders when possible.
• Maintain grounds cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Know emergency cut-offs for gas and water; locate sewer clean outs.
• Operate and schedule routine maintenance on equipment.
