Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our community-focused teams in Washington, DC. You will perform preventative maintenance, address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and prepare units for move-in while delivering outstanding resident service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents by resolving service tickets and performing preventative maintenance.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain building cleanliness and safety, including snow removal and grounds work.
• Provide residents with excellent customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
