Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at Fairview Cove in Tampa, Florida. We are looking for a dependable, hands‑on individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable community for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide responsive, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of maintenance experience or experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, and general building trades.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds according to established procedures.
• Respond to resident service requests and communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding work order status and completed work.
• Complete vacant apartments to make-ready status according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• Inspect work performed by outside contractors and communicate any concerns to management.
• Perform and inspect exterior maintenance to help maintain the property's curb appeal.
• Regularly inspect common areas to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and overall condition.
• Follow all applicable health and safety codes, laws, and standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs as part of the property's on-call rotation.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as requested by management.
