Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area. Join a fast-growing team to help keep our gyms safe and well-maintained in a welcoming environment.

This role requires basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, proficiency with common tools, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You must be on call for emergencies, including nights and weekends, with travel as needed and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools and common appliances and devices.
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fitness equipment independently while following safety regulations.
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all locations.
• Inspect alarm systems and coordinate with partners for maintenance.
• Be on call for maintenance emergencies and travel as needed.
• Travel required; company vehicle provided and travel time reimbursed.
