Planet Fitness is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs around the Raleigh, NC area. This role involves installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment while performing upkeep across locations in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Available of nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time
