Job summary

Galman Group seeks a Full-Time Maintenance Technician Floater to support multiple properties in Philadelphia. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, make-readies, and upkeep of common areas and units to keep residents safe and satisfied.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and safety practices, with on-call flexibility and a team-focused, customer-service mindset. Valid driver's license and own tools are preferred for timely parts acquisition and onsite

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience required; trades or technical training preferred.
• On-call availability and flexibility to respond to emergencies.
• Owns personal tools and can travel between properties as needed.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Capable of working independently and with a team using basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and make-readies for units and common areas.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with supervisor for major repairs.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; follow housing laws and company policies.
• Assist with snow removal, inventory of parts, and on-site make-ready tasks.
