Job summary

Trucent, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. The role is on-site, with on-call duties on nights and weekends, and requires flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in mechanical and/or machine maintenance, with a background in electrical troubleshooting and the ability to read P&IDs. Welding experience and comfort with heights and aerial equipment are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of mechanical and/or machine maintenance required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance preferred.
Welding experience a plus.
Comfortable working on heights and aerial equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintain/repair equipment with emphasis on proper operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on requested equipment.
Troubleshoot and provide operational assistance for process equipment.
Document repairs, cleaning, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and paperwork.
Follow safety program and policies; adhere to customer facility safety rules.
Assist and participate in capital projects and safety training.
