Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Utility Worker to assist the Maintenance Safety Manager with vendors and RJW Transport contract mechanics, and to help maintain all company equipment.

The role will report to the Maintenance Manager and requires strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, plus the ability to communicate in English. The position may require being on-call for after-hours emergencies and a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• Maintenance: 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Plumbing: 2 years of practical experience.
• Electrical: 2 years of practical experience.
• Appliance repairs: 2 years of practical experience.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills.
• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
