Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Maintenance Utility Worker to assist the Maintenance Safety Manager and RJW Transport contract mechanic, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires attention to detail, strong computer basics, and reliable teamwork.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in maintenance, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs, with a valid Illinois driver's license.

Qualifications

Maintenance: 2 years
Plumbing: 2 years
Electrical: 2 years
Appliance repairs: 2 years
Valid Illinois driver's license.

Responsibilities

Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills.
Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
Professional verbal and written communication.
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
General computer knowledge.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to be on-call for responding after-hour emergencies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.
Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
