Job summary
La Costa Glen Carlsbad CCRC LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to maintain the physical plant and perform preventive maintenance, service calls and seasonal repairs. Responsibilities include apartment turnovers, plumbing and electrical tasks, carpentry, and landscape-related upkeep.
You will work with the Plant Operations team to deliver reliable service to residents. Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic tool skills, and prior experience in a commercial or healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling preferred.
- At least 1 year experience with electrical, plumbing and painting in a complex setting.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read instructions in English and perform basic arithmetic.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance for the physical plant.
- Complete apartment turnovers with minor repairs and touchups.
- Maintain pool, koi pond and water features; assist with painting and carpentry.
- Assist residents with basic tasks and provide excellent service.
- On-call duty once per week and participate in safety trainings.
