Job summary

Wallick Communities in Linton, IN is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our 100% employee-owned team. This full-time role includes rotating on-call shifts and a pay rate of $21-$24 per hour, depending on experience.

You’ll complete work orders, manage unit turns, handle emergencies, and maintain high standards across our communities. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year maintenance experience with plumbing or electrical knowledge, a valid driver's license, and a customer‑focused,

Qualifications

At least 1 year of maintenance experience with some plumbing and/or electrical knowledge.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a great work ethic.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service, clear communication, and quality repairs.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve issues as they arise.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete Work Orders: Use our technology to handle maintenance tasks quickly and accurately.
Manage Unit Turns: Prepare units for new residents as directed by the community leader.
Handle Emergencies: Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including on-call shifts when needed.
Maintain High Standards: Keep our communities in top shape and document your work properly.
Stay Certified: Maintain any required certifications for the role.
