Job summary

Wallick Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician to support Mitchell Apartments, Orleans Garden Apartments, and Paoli Apartments in Mitchell, IN 47446. This full-time role includes rotating on-call shifts and a pay range of $21–$24 per hour.

You will complete work orders, manage unit turns, respond to emergencies, and maintain high standards across our communities. A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance work with some plumbing and/or electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to customer service and quality repairs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Complete Work Orders using our maintenance tech system.
• Manage Unit Turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Handle emergencies and on-call shifts as needed.
• Maintain high standards across our communities and document work.
• Stay certified with required role certifications.
