Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA seeks a Maintenance Specialist to help sustain a safe, homelike environment for students with complex needs. This on-call role supports interior maintenance, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, HVAC and electrical tasks and requires the ability to lift 70 lbs.

The ideal candidate will have MA license and a vehicle, a high school diploma or GED, and the capacity to attend a two-day orientation in Rutland, MA.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• MA License and Vehicle required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in interior building maintenance/repair strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 70 lbs required
• Must be able to attend a 2 day paid orientation, Monday and Tuesday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.

This is an on-call position, picking up shifts as needed

Devereux Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a Maintenance Specialist, You Will
