Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support/Care Professionals to work with youth in a program serving boys with ASD/ADHD and related needs. You will supervise safely, provide therapeutic interventions, and reinforce positive behaviors in a structured setting.

The role requires a valid driver's license, MAPS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months, and a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA. Full-time benefits include generous PTO, retirement plan and health coverage.

• Maintain required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.

The pay range for this position is $21.12 to $24.58 per hour depending on experience and education.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The available schedule for this position is Thursday & Saturday 11pm-9am. Shifts in other programs may be available to make this a full-time position.

$1000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time

$250 Bonus if MAP Certified

Devereux - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Devereux's East Meadow program serves boys 7 to 15 with ASD, ADHD, and various cognitive disabilities. With 1 staff to 3 students ratio, this program offers a high level of individualized care.

As a Direct Support/Care Professional, You Will

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision .
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.
• Teach and assist with Activities of Daily (ADL) Living Skills.
• Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
• Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment
