Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Maintenance & Repair Worker I to join our team in Dahlgren, VA on a part-time, on-call basis. Responsibilities include general maintenance, repair of equipment, and minor construction tasks across government facilities.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and experience in maintenance trades. Position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work with hand and power tools, and obtain a Secret clearance for Naval Support Activity Dahlgren.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum experience in operations and maintenance.
• Experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or related trade.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand/power tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for Naval Support Activity Dahlgren.
• Valid driver's license required.
• HAZMAT/EM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair on government facilities and equipment.
• Assist with facility improvement projects and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow established procedures and report unusual conditions to supervision.
• Install/repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry tasks as needed.
• Support workload surges and on-call assignments.
