Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Trade Helper to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia. The role involves assisting skilled maintenance workers, supplying tools and materials, and helping maintain clean work areas in a multi-trade environment.

The candidate will follow written or verbal instructions, wear proper PPE, and may be subject to a security background check to access Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Verifiable vocational training or one year verifiable experience in construction or facilities maintenance and repair.
• Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must wear hard-toed safety shoes meeting ASTM F2413-05 standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying materials and tools, cleaning work area, and supporting journey‑level workers.
• Performs other duties as directed by a craftsperson or trade worker.
