Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking an On-Call Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional guest experiences in the Restaurant, Bar & Lounge. You will engage guests, recommend drinks, and maintain high standards of service and presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, strong wine and cocktail knowledge, and the ability to handle cash and POS transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bartending or related hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Ability to obtain required food handling and alcohol service certifications in accordance with local regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest service.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Engage with guests, take beverage orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on preferences and menu offerings.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, resolving concerns, and creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately enter orders, process payments, and manage guest checks using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including beverage stations, glassware, and workspaces.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and preparing garnishes and bar ingredients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining and beverage experience for guests.
