Job summary

St. Brendan Catholic School in Bothell, WA is seeking a Lunchroom Assistant Substitute to support daily lunch operations and supervise students as needed.

This on-call role requires you to supervise during lunch periods, assist with setup, food distribution, and cleanup while maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Qualifications include patience with children, clear communication, ability to lift and stand for extended periods, and a background check with Safe Environment training.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with school staff and follow procedures.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a background check and Safe Environment training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring a safe, positive, and orderly environment.
• Assist students as needed during lunchtime and reinforce appropriate behavior and lunchroom expectations.
• Assist with lunch setup, student check in, food distribution, and other lunchroom operations as needed.
• Clean and sanitize lunch tables, counters, and other lunchroom surfaces between lunch periods.
• Assist with sweeping and general lunchroom cleanup.
• Follow school health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure efficient lunchroom operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
