Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable Substitute Kitchen Helper to support our school food service program on an as-needed basis at West Holt School District. This on-site role helps keep meal service running smoothly by assisting with food prep, serving students, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

You will fill in when regular team members are out, follow recipes, adhere to food-safety steps, stock stations, and communicate needs to the team.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work on an as-needed basis at various school locations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and scale for large batches.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at school kitchens when team members are out, ensuring meal service continues.
• Help prep and serve menu items, stock stations, follow serving-size and dietary guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and maintain clean storage areas and equipment using FIFO.
