Adams and Associates, Inc. at the Grafton Job Corps Center is hiring an on-call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide preventative and emergency health services and wellness education to students.

The LPN will evaluate and recommend appropriate medical, mental health and dental services for the student population and may fill in for other nurses on the team when available. Pay is $29.08 per hour and duties include first aid, patient care in the Wellness Clinic, and maintaining a sanitary,

Qualifications

• LPN certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, in-state license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• Regional Approval required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Wellness Manager to coordinate and provide medical, mental services for students.
• Comply with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records.
• Comply with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records.
• Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care (for students in the Wellness Clinic) and other wellness services as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary environment within Wellness Services.
