Job summary

InTown Suites in Houston is seeking a Property Attendant to maintain a comfortable, safe, and quiet atmosphere for guests. You will monitor the property when the office is closed and respond to guest needs in a professional manner, both in person and on the phone after office hours.

The role requires living on site during employment and following the Terms of Guest Agreement. You will perform rounds, assist guests with maintenance, and coordinate with the General Manager for safety or security

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in a variety of internal hotel information.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep watch on the property when the office is closed.
• Report any safety or security issues to the General Manager or local authorities.
• Respond to guest needs, complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Establish good communication with property guests.
• Secure storage and employee areas nightly.
• Obtain guest lists nightly to ensure access control.
• Note issues for investigation on the Daily Action Plan.
• Obtain a Vacant Room Report to secure rooms nightly.
• Call General Manager or Regional Operations Manager for urgent questions/concerns.
• Verify ID and provide access to rooms for locked-out guests.
• Assist guests with minor maintenance issues.
• Document rounds and incidents on the Property Attendant Checklist.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
