Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate or Science degree or equivalent.
• Successful completion of clinical competencies during internship.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic modalities and supervise prescribed exercises.
• Instruct patients on home equipment and use of orthopedic devices.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures and monitor condition.
• Maintain infection control and assist during physician-prescribed treatments.
• Assist in patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation.
