Job summary

Sharon Public Library is seeking a Substitute Library Assistant for an on-call position in Sharon, OH. The role involves checking items in and out, processing deliveries, and assisting patrons using the catalog and circulation software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in liberal arts or related field, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience, is required.
• Experience working with the public in a customer-service setting; library circulation experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are also required.
• Experience with Evergreen/Aspen ILS is preferred.
