Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas on site. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols to complete duties per the daily schedule.

Responsibilities include performing janitorial tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting hazards. No strict education is required; 3–6 months of training or experience preferred. The position pays $20.80–$21.80 per hour with an open schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
