Job summary

ASL in Torrance/Carson is seeking an on-call Janitor (part-time) to service the Torrance & Carson locations. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of housekeeping/sanitation experience.

The pay rate is $20.00/hour + $5.09/hour H&W. The ideal candidate will live in the area, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and be able to pass background checks and a drug test.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 1 year of experience of progressively responsible housekeeping/sanitation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow rules for entering and leaving the building.
• Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Report hazards and repair needs to supervisor.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
