Job summary

Expedient Technology Solutions is seeking an IT/Systems role to support and maintain critical infrastructure across County departments in Ohio. The position emphasizes security, reliability, and operational readiness of mission-critical systems, with on-call responsibilities and field support as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in secure environments, incident response, and technology deployment coordination for multiple county entities, along with cloud and networking expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing systems used in secure environments (e.g., Board of Elections, Courts, Sheriff’s Office/Jail).
• Minimum of 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in critical infrastructure or IT management.
• Certifications in emergency management, incident command (IC/NIMS), or public safety communications are a plus.
• Knowledge of public safety operations, emergency response protocols, and crisis management.
• Ability to lead during high‑pressure situations and make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
• Incidence Response Essentials training is desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Incident Response Team and may be on call 24/7 or in rotation.
• Provide technology support and deployment coordination for County Departments.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Maintain and troubleshoot secure systems and related hardware/software across departments.
