Job summary

Expedient Technology Solutions seeks an experienced IT Specialist to install, configure, and maintain Public Safety systems, mobile data computers, and related telecommunications hardware and software. You will ensure operability, support end users, and coordinate with local agencies to keep systems secure and up-to-date.

The role requires CJIS training, CompTIA certifications, and strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, and CAD/911 systems.

Qualifications

1+ years of end user application, OS, and hardware support in an Enterprise environment.
2+ years of experience in computer systems maintenance or equivalent training/knowledge.
CJIS required recurring training must be achieved and maintained.
FCC Amateur Radio Service Technician License – required for Incident Response Team.
CompTIA A+ Certification; CompTIA Server+ Certification; CompTIA Network+ Certification.
CPCNA – Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate for mobile fleet support.

Responsibilities

Must participate in the Incident Response Team (on-call 24/7 may be required).
Must participate in the Patch Management Team and support environment patching rotations.
Obtain and maintain required skills for ongoing system maintenance and operations.
