Job summary

SYNC at West Dallas is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate holds EPA Universal or Type 2 HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and participates in biweekly on-call rotations while performing preventative maintenance and repairs across interiors, exteriors, and common areas.

Responsibilities include making-ready units for leasing, on-call response, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safety and property

Qualifications

• EPA certification required and maintained.
• Minimum of three years prior apartment maintenance staff experience.
• Valid driver's license with state minimum auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleaned and repaired condition of interiors, exteriors, and site using company materials and equipment.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency work order calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC issues, appliances, electrical, and plumbing as needed.
• Assist in make-ready process to ensure unit availability for leasing efforts.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and place replacement orders as needed.
• Perform safety inspections and correct hazards in a timely manner.

Education

EPA Universal or Type 2 certification

High school graduate or GED

Valid Driver's License with state minimum auto insurance
