Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least three years' on-site apartment management and maintenance experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification, and strong communication skills; this is an on-call position with evening, weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
• Minimum of three years on-site apartment managerial and maintenance experience.
• Written and oral communication skills with basic computer skills.
• Ability to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the overall maintenance and preservation for the community.
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure safety compliance; coordinate with the Property Manager on budgets and purchases.
• Track work orders, inspect vacant units, and ensure preventive maintenance is performed.
• Perform hands-on maintenance as needed to address issues and maintain market readiness.
• Coordinate on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
