Nye Health Services in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Associate to join our team on a PRN/on-call basis. You will help keep our senior living community clean, welcoming, and safe for residents to enjoy.

The role is part-time, with shifts picked up as needed. Ideal candidates take pride in attention to detail, safety, and working well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
