ARCHDIOCESE OF SEATTLE PAYROLL SERVICES is seeking a Per Diem On-Call Chaplain to provide ministerial care at Seattle-area hospitals, including sacraments, pastoral visits, and spiritual support for patients and families.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in theology or pastoral ministry (Masters preferred), Clinical Pastoral Education or NAC Chaplains certification, and at least two years in a healthcare setting; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology or pastoral ministry; Masters preferred.
• CPE certification or equivalent.
• Certification through NAC Chaplains preferred.
• 2+ years in a healthcare facility setting.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide sacraments, pastoral visits, and spiritual care to patients and families.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and clergy for sacramental care.
• Respond to emergency calls and triage patient spiritual needs.
• Offer spiritual care to staff, patients, and families across centers.
• Provide Catholic materials within the budget.
