Job summary

Hospice of the West is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) in Tucson to join our compassionate team. You will respond to patient needs, perform comprehensive assessments, document meticulously, and support families during terminal illness.

Requires RN license and EMR proficiency; hospice experience is a plus. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $93,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RN license current and unencumbered.
• 1 year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Proficient computer skills including EMR systems; typing ability.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: respond to patient needs from urgent to routine, providing unwavering support in critical moments.
• Provide empathetic and heartfelt assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and agency/regulatory systems.
• Provide support for families, guiding and supporting them during the terminally ill period.
