Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Missouri to provide after-hours nursing care, triage, crisis intervention, symptom management, and admissions support for hospice patients in home or facility settings. The role involves working with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate end-of-life care.

The RN serves as the primary clinical resource during on-call hours, responding to urgent needs and death visits while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Hospice, palliative care, home health, emergency department, ICU, or oncology experience preferred.
• Experience with after-hours triage and symptom management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours nursing care and triage for hospice patients.
